Our Story
A female-owned and operated dog ranch and rescue nestled on Vashon Island. We offer spacious off-leash areas for dogs to run and play, alongside cozy barn accommodations for overnight stays. Serving as both a sanctuary for your pups and a dog rescue, Turning Points is not only dedicated to providing a loving second chance to dogs in need but also a fun place for your pup to come play.
Facility
A Look At The Ranch
Located on the sunny west side of Vashon Island, Turning Points Dog Ranch offers over two acres of lush green grass with three different pastures for dogs to roam and play. Our newly built “Dog Love Casa” offers pups a chance to come inside at anytime during the day and enjoy our cozy couches and dog beds for ample rest time. The owner lives on site and oversees the safety and well being of all dogs who visit the ranch for a day or overnight stays. Just outside of our fenced two acres is also an additional three acres of forest, which will soon have trails cleared for supervised “pack walks.”

At Turning Points Dog Ranch, we believe every dog deserves a second chance, no matter where they come from or how long they’ve been waiting. From the sunny streets of Sayulita, Mexico, to older dogs patiently hoping in shelters, we’re dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs in need. All of our rescues are looking for their forever family. If you are interested in meeting one of our amazing pups, please reach out directly through email, text or phone call. All possible adopters will be screened and require a home visit from our staff.
